Mitutoyo 155-121 Telescopic Gauge, 0.313 to 0.5″

Enable the diameter of holes, bores, or grooves to be measured with outside micrometers or calipers with this telescopic gauge. In addition, this gauge features a 0.313 to 0.5″ range and a spring-loaded plunger that expands within the bore (or groove) to allow determination of the internal diameter.

Features

• Spring-loaded plunger expands within the bore (or groove), allowing determination of the internal diameter (or groove width)
• With a knurled clamp
• In operation the spring loaded plunger is allowed to expand within the feature to be measured and then locked in place using the knurled rotary control on the end of the handle
• In practice some manipulation is necessary to ensure that the minimum size has been captured, after which the gauge is carefully withdrawn so that the dimension across the contact surfaces can be measured
