Appleton™ WY58E and O-Z/Gedney™ Y58E Type Checkered Cover Sidewalk Topping Boxes are designed for flush mounting. These open-bottom boxes are designed to top off an underlying concrete pull box. Their checkered covers are made to withstand pedestrian traffic. The flanges and covers are interchangeable to permit replacement without disturbing the box or conduit system. They are ideal for use to protect personnel against accidental contact with enclosed electrical devices or connections and to protect the enclosed devices or connections against external conditions. These weatherproof, cast iron boxes are ideal for use in indoor or outdoor environments. The WY58E and Y58E boxes are available in several sizes with custom drilling, tapping, and mounting lug options.

• For use with threaded metal conduit. Supplied with cover gasket.
