Appleton™ EXB Cast Iron Junction Boxes

Appleton™ EXB Cast Iron Junction Boxes are used to protect personnel against accidental contact with enclosed electrical devices or connections and to protect the enclosed devices or connections against specified external conditions. They also serve as intermediate pulling and splicing points in a conduit system. These explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof junction boxes are designed with a precision machined flame path between the box and the cover. The EXB is available in a wide selection of sizes and locations for drilled and tapped openings. They feature extra wide mating surfaces with closely spaced stainless steel hex head cap screws, and integrally cast mounting feet.

• EXB is UL Listed and CSA Certified for use in Hazardous (Classified) Locations.
