Appleton™ GRU Universal Conduit Outlet Boxes

Appleton™ GRU Universal Conduit Outlet Boxes can be used for pulling wires, connect lengths of conduit, change the direction of conduit runs, and to provide access for maintenance. These conduit outlet boxes are ideal for use in indoor, outdoor, or corrosive environments where hazardous materials are handled or stored. These explosionproof, dust- ignitionproof, weather resistant (raintight) outlet boxes are manufactured with accurately tapped, tapered hub threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. Smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub type box protects conductor insulation. The GRU is a universal design with five threaded universal hubs and three close-up plugs. They are furnished with a cover and a standard O-ring to provide a raintight (NEMA 3, 4) fit. The GRU has an internally threaded body with an externally threaded cover.
