Appleton™ WYR and O-Z/Gedney™ YR Outside Flanged Recessed Cover Boxes

Appleton™ WYR and O-Z/Gedney™ YR Outside Flanged Recessed Cover Boxes are designed for flush mounting in masonry in walls or floors or can be used for surface mounting using optional mounting lugs. They serve as intermediate pulling and splicing points in a conduit system. They are ideal for use to protect personnel against accidental contact with enclosed electrical devices or connections and to protect the enclosed devices or connections against external conditions. These raintight, watertight, dust-tight, cast iron, Type 4 boxes are ideal for use in indoor or outdoor environments and are suitable for installations subjected to rain, dripping or splashing water or hose-directed water. The WYR and YR boxes are available in several sizes with custom drilling, tapping, and mounting lug options.

• WYR and YR are UL Listed and CSA Certified for use in for Ordinary (Unclassified) Locations and CSA Certified for use in Hazardous (Classified) Locations.
• For use with threaded metal conduit. Supplied with cover gasket.
