Appleton™ NEC CPU Universal Conduit Outlet Boxes and Covers

Appleton™ NEC CPU Universal Conduit Outlet Boxes and Covers can be used for pulling wires, connect lengths of conduit, change the direction of conduit runs, and to provide access for maintenance. They are ideal for use in indoor, outdoor, wet, or corrosive environments where hazardous materials are handled or stored. These explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof outlet boxes are manufactured with accurately tapped, tapered hub threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity and wide, accurately ground explosionproof mating surfaces. Smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub type box protects conductor insulation. The CPU is a universal design with four threaded universal hubs, three close-up plugs and is furnished with a cover. They can serve as mounting outlets for lighting fixtures when used with an approved hub cover.
