Appleton™ GUBB and GUBBM Cast Junction Boxes

Appleton™ GUBB and GUBBM Cast Junction Boxes are used as a junction or pull box for pulling and splicing wires, as an enclosure for electrical devices, and where the number and size of conductors requires a junction box with additional space. They are ideal for use in indoor, outdoor, or corrosive environments where hazardous materials are handled or stored. These explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof junction boxes are manufactured with accurately tapped, tapered hub threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. All models are furnished with covers and mounting lugs. GUBB is suitable for use as an enclosure for relays, instruments and other control apparatus in classified locations. O-rings are standard for forms 1, 2 and 3 to provide raintight fit. GUBBM is suitable for use as an enclosure for meters, gauges, and similar devices and comes complete with a round, explosionproof glass window cover and an O-ring to provide raintight fit.
