ASTM D2171
The CANNON Asphalt Institute Vacuum Viscometer (Reversed Flow) measures the viscosity of highly viscous materials according to ASTM D2171. Minimum sample volume is 3 mL. Minimum bath depth is 180 mm (7.1 in). Viscometers are provided with a certificate of calibration and instruction sheet. Permanently attached round metal holders are included or may be ordered separately.

For transparent and opaque liquids. Must be cleaned, dried and refilled between repeat determinations. |
Vacuum |
A special type of reverse-flow viscometer for highly viscous samples (transparent or opaque). Accurately controlled vacuum is required to pull the liquid through the viscometer. |
