Description

  • Integrated differential pressure sensor with an accuracy of 0.2 % of f.v.
  • Calculation of the flow velocity and the volume flow via Pitot tube (optional)
  • Multi-point and timed mean calculation
  • 2 probe inputs for additional pressure and temperature probes
  • PN: 0560 5210

The high-precision testo 521-1 differential pressure measuring instrument is ideal for accurate differential pressure measurements in air conditioning and ventilation technology, for instance for pressure drop on filters, checking fans and extractors or for Pitot tube measurements.

The testo 521-1 differential pressure measuring instrument is targeted at precise differential pressure measurements in air conditioning and ventilation technology. It is excellent for use in measuring the pressure drop on filters and in checking fans and extractors. The measuring instrument is also suitable for Pitot tube measurements in ventilation ducts or in process air (in the 5 to 100 m/s range). The differential pressure measuring instrument has an integrated temperature-compensated differential pressure sensor which measures with an accuracy of 0.2 % of f.v. In addition, you can attach up to 2 further optional probes to the measuring instrument. This means you can flexibly adapt the differential pressure measuring instrument to your application. You have the choice of the following probes:

  • Differential pressure probes
  •  Absolute pressure probes
  • Relative pressure probes
  • Temperature probes (e.g. surface probes or immersion and penetration probes)

The practical features of the testo 521-1 differential pressure measuring instrument

The integrated differential pressure sensor enables the testo 521-1 measuring instrument to calculate flow velocity and volume flow using a Pitot tube (which can be ordered separately). The differential pressure measuring instrument also offers timed and multi-point mean calculation.

Furthermore, long-term monitoring is possible: in doing this, measurement data can be saved individually or as a series of measurements. The measurement rate and the number of values to be saved can be selected by the user. Dynamic measurements can be saved in the measuring instrument in the measuring cycle of 0.04 seconds.

The optional ComSoft software enables you to carry out online measurements via your PC, save the measurement data so that it is linked to the measuring location and analyze it on the PC. You can use the optional testo fast printer to print measurement data out directly at the measuring location.

You can choose between the following units for pressure measurement: mbar, hPa, bar, Pa, kPa, inH2O, mmH2O, torr and psi. The mean value, the last measured value and the min./max. values can be displayed simply by pressing a key.
